Bhushita Jolly

Bhushita was a student at Barking & Dagenham College when she first encountered the Digital Skills Project. She was mentored by Julia von Klonowski, participated (very successfully) in the project, and achieved her college qualification.

She was then selected to be a Degree Apprentice at Accenture, working on the delivery of large Change and Transformation projects and being involved in the end-to-end Software Development Life Cycle (Bhushita was later awarded a First Class Degree).

Bhushita now has several years of Consulting experience, and is extremely comfortable in positions of responsibility, whether part of a team or on her own initiative, something she believes had its genesis in her experiences - and things she learned at college - working on the Digital Skills Project.

In 2023, Bhushita was appointed to the position of Business Analyst at the London Borough of Redbridge, utilising all her knowledge, experience & skills to make a direct impact on her local community.

She is also active in WISE events, supporting their endeavours to attract more young women into the fields of Digital Technology.

In 2024, Bhushita featured in an article in the FE News, documenting her incredible story.
