Mohammed Ahmed

Whilst at College Mohammed participated in the Digital Skills Project, along with over 1,200 other DigiTech students from around the country. Over a twelve-week period, the students learned about Business and Digital skills, and took part in various workshops.

Mohammed’s team won the ‘Best Solution’ Award, judged by organisations including AWS, the Princes Trust, BBC and HSBC. He developed teamworking skills and how to work together with people who have different skills & personalities. At the final event, he and his team presented to an audience of over 150, helping to develop confidence, community skills and teamworking skills.

In 2025, Mohammed also won the prestigious Alan Livett Award, after a further stint on the Digital Skills Project, as Mentor to one of the winning teams.

In his spare time, Mohammed continues to work on his programming skills, creating websites, games and AI ChatBots, while seeking to pursue a career in Cyber Security.

He has also started studying towards a BSc Honours Degree (Digital & Technology Solutions) at Sheffield Hallam University and is currently employed as a DELL Field Engineer at Rico Logistics.
