Mohammed Ahmed

Whilst at College Mohammed participated in the Digital Skills Project, along with over 1,200 other DigiTech students from around the country. Over a twelve-week period, the students learned about Business and Digital skills, and took part in various workshops.

Mohammed’s team won the ‘Best Solution’ Award, judged by organisations including AWS, the Princes Trust, BBC and HSBC. He developed teamworking skills and how to work together with people who have different skills & personalities. At the final event, he and his team presented to an audience of over 150, helping to develop confidence, community skills and teamworking skills.

In his spare time, Mohammed continued to work on his programming skills, creating websites, games and AI ChatBots, while seeking to pursue a career in Cyber Security.

He has since started studying towards a BSc Honours Degree (Digital & Technology Solutions) at Sheffield Hallam University and is currently employed as a Degree Apprentice with CapGemini in Birmingham.
