Supporting Charities & Community Organisations
Supporting charities and community organisations is an important part of our mission. By working with organisations that make a real difference, we create meaningful opportunities for students to apply their digital skills in real-world projects while making a positive social impact.We collaborate with charities including The King’s Trust, Comic Relief, The Turing Trust, Samaritans, The Trussell Trust, Barnardo’s, and Mind, helping them achieve their objectives while providing students with valuable work experience, industry insight and practical skills.
Julia von Klonowski and Michael Klonowski also worked alongside the National Crime Agency (NCA) and other partners to establish The CyberHub Trust, a registered charity that worked with Further Education colleges to deliver digital and cyber skills training, industry engagement, work experience and collaborative events for young people.
Since the closure of the charity due to the economic downturn, the activities of the charity have been wrapped into the work delivered by Digital Skills Consulting, specifically the interactive ‘Careers & Employability in a Digital Landscape’ events, hosted at a variety of colleges & schools.
Education & Training of Digital Technology & Cybersecurity
The CyberHub Trust was an innovative charity, using pioneering technology, and partnerships with employers, law enforcement agencies & government departments, to transform people’s lives.
This was achieved together with partners who delivered workshops, training, apprenticeships and work experience.
The Trust worked with Further Education college across the UK, supporting students from all backgrounds, including those who are disadvantaged, neurodivergent and ‘at risk’, many of whom had skills that are highly valued in the world of Digital Technology (DigiTech) and Cybersecurity.
The CyberHub Trust was advised and supported by the National Crime Agency (NCA), the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), and Regional Organised (Cyber) Crime Units (ROCU).
