Moderation

DSC has a strict policy to not respond to – and to immediately remove – any postings on our social media platforms, blogs and/or website, that:  

• contain any material which is defamatory, obscene, or offensive
• infringe any copyrights, database rights, trademarks or other Intellectual Property Rights, or any other rights of any other person likely to deceive any other person
• contain any material which constitute or encourage conduct that could be considered a criminal offence, give rise to civil liability, or otherwise be contrary to the law
• are made in breach of any legal duty owed to a third party, such as a contractual duty or obligation of confidentiality
• are likely to harass, upset, embarrass, alarm, or annoy any other person
• are likely to disrupt the DSC’s service in any way
• give the impression that it/they emanate from DSC where this is not the case
• advocate, promote, or assist any unlawful act, for example copyright, trademark infringement, or computer misuse
• put any person or organisation at risk of cyber crime

Limitation of Liability
