Our workshops provide an engaging introduction to the technology, exploring its history, practical applications, ethics and the growing impact on business, society, academia, industry and commerce.

These workshops are supported by employers and industry experts, providing valuable insights into how organisations are adopting AI in practice, including presentations by industry leaders, such as the NHS, Amazon, Vizgard (drone tech) and WPP Media.

Through interactive sessions, students learn how AI is used in areas such as content creation, digital design, websites, mobile apps, chatbots and virtual assistants. They explore emerging trends and gain experience of AI tools that are increasingly used in the workplace.

A strong emphasis is placed on the ethical use of AI, including topics such as bias, transparency, sustainability and responsible innovation. Real-world examples help students understand how AI systems can unintentionally reflect the biases present in the data they are trained on, reinforcing the importance of designing fair, inclusive and trustworthy technologies.
