Lehel László Nagy
A student from Birmingham Metropolitan College, Lehel first became involved in the Digital Skills Project during COVID, and quickly distinguished himself through his enthusiasm, commitment, and willingness to learn. He later returned to the programme as a mentor, while also actively participating in a range of workshops and training opportunities.
He went on to complete a degree in Cyber Security at Coventry University and now works full-time as a Digital & Cyber Security Teacher at his former college, Birmingham Metropolitan College, inspiring and supporting the next generation of technology professionals.
As part of the project Lehel worked with AWS, the BBC, and The Prince’s Trust, as well as other leading employers, and has consistently embraced opportunities to develop his business & technology skills, while making a positive contribution to his college and community.
Throughout his involvement with Digital Skills Consulting, he continues to demonstrate outstanding communication skills, balancing professionalism with approachability.
He demonstrates to his students, by his actions, a wide range of transferable skills, including teamwork, critical thinking, communication, community engagement, project management, budgeting, planning, and time management.
